TheJOURNEY Cares...it is as simple as that. We care about each other and we care about the world. We want to love, we want to serve, and we want to give. It is what Jesus did for us, and it's what Jesus calls us to do for others!
In order to keep track of all the many ways we try to care for others, we have divided them into two important catagories, Congregational Care and Community Care.
Congregational Care is just that, all the ways that we try to support, encourage, and care for one another within our family of faith. Want more info click HERE. Contact our Director of Congregational Care by clicking HERE.
Community Care is our ministry umbrella that covers a wide variety of outreach and service ministries that the people of TheJOURNEY are either engaged in or support. We have tried to select these ministries based on Jesus' scriptural commands to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned, welcome the stranger, care for widows & orphans, and shelter the homeless.
TheJOURNEY also believes strongly in the power of prayer. In this spirit, we actively pray for families in the community that have lost a loved one, have a member deployed overseas, or have experienced the joy of a new birth. We may not know these people, but they are a part of our family under God, and so we care. Want more info? Then please contact our Director of Community Care by clicking HERE.
